CBS exercises six-day option for Florida game

CBS has exercised a six-day option for selection of football games to be played on Saturday, Oct. 17. The Arkansas football team will travel to Gainesville, Fla., to take on the Gators at a time to be announced in a nationally televised game on either CBS or ESPN

The Arkansas-Florida game will be televised by CBS at 2:30 p.m. CT or by ESPN at 6:45 CT. The South Carolina game at Alabama is also under consideration by the network. CBS will make the decision no later than Monday, Oct. 12, but could make the choice as early as Saturday, Oct. 10.

The following games will also be broadcast on Oct. 17: Georgia at Vanderbilt (11:21 CT, SEC Network), Mississippi State at Middle Tennessee (11:30 CT, ESPNU), UAB at Ole Miss (6 p.m. CT, FSN), Kentucky at Auburn (6:30 p.m. CT, ESPNU).
