First Swatter’s Club meeting on Monday

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- The first Swatter's Club meeting of the 2011 baseball season will be held Monday, February 7, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Clarion Inn in Fayetteville.
Lunch will be served at 11:30. Following lunch, Arkansas baseball head coach Dave Van Horn will speak to the crowd and answer questions about the upcoming baseball season.
The cost to attend is $11, which includes the buffet and a drink. Swatter's Club meetings will also be held on March 7, April 4 and May 2.
Arkansas returns 13 letter-winners and four starters from the 2010 team that finished the season with a 43-21 record and advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals.
The Razorbacks open the season with an 11-game homestand, beginning on Friday, February 18, at 3:05 p.m. against Delaware State. The series continues on Saturday and Sunday with first pitch for each game slated for 1:05 p.m. Tickets for all Arkansas home baseball games may be purchased by calling 1-800-982-HOGS (4647) or by visiting the online ticket center at ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
